talking about miracles, what can be more symbolic than those happening in God's house? During the service in the morning at city harvest church, i was so disturbed by the coughs that disrupted my prayer and singing from time to time..i prayed to Him, pleading Him to cure me of my coughs so that when i express my thankfulness for His mercy and goodness, i wouldn be troubled by the irritating coughs..MIRACULOUSLY, juz a brief moment after my prayer, i began to feel better and the notes of the very high keys are not bothering me any more!! who says God cannot hear us? of course He can!! and He could hear it even clearer when we were at the gate of heaven, the temple of His!! well, i guess if i ever doubted His all-powerness, He has juz proven me wrong: an almight and omnipotent God healed my sickness with juz a breeze of whisper into my body..i clearly recalled that took place when i was singing aloud "breathe into my soul, spirit of God, fill my life with your presence.." hohoho, don tell me it's juz a coincidence..
I also met up with my new CG today..it seems fine..although the group is predominantly Indonesians, i guess i m with the international group again..haha..
at the end, i want to thank the Lord again for His benevolence and grace at me..bless be to Jesus

hi hi..i think i have not posted anything for the past few days..haha..too tired..but anyway, wish every passerby a HAPPY NEW YEAR..
this is photo taken during my class gathering on the new yr's day. so happy to see all of them. xiaosai has juz come back from johns hopkins for holidays, she's taking CBE there too!! (CBE rocks man...)
i also met yinwei dere..eventually get to meet him again..he's been missing in action for months, ( i guess he's too engrossed with his gf and forgot all of us..) haha.. he is going to get commissioned soon, by then he would be a officer in SAF. congrats to him!
this is a gathering that has been planned for a long time, but has be procrastinated again and again

finally, today is going to come to an end. to me, today certainly means more than any of the other 364 days in the yr; it symbolizes the end of the 21st yr of my life and opens up a new yr of my life for me to embark on.
for me, i can hardly tell what lies in front of me. life is simply laid with too many choices, therefore, instead of fretting a cornucopia of possibilities and nettle myself with the myriad of potentials, i opt to live in my own style, reducing the options to one--one that is determined by God.
however, i do have a few wishes for myself. amongst them is being a more mature person. i am very disturbed when i was told by a good friend of mine that i am sometimes quite childish(note: it's not childlike)..
orh, jayne, fern and yong jie have come over to my room to celebrate my birthday for me..i feel so touched by them..for years, this is the first birthday i really had for myself..thank you, my frenz..
so my second wish is that all of us can keep healthy and have happy lives ahead of us..small wish, but it's so hard to achieve...we will strive hard to reach that.
yawn...wanted to continue writing, but i am too doped with sleepiness, i think i better take a slp now..

i am back in action!!
again, i had a fantastic day!! i woke up at 1030 haha..slept like a pig last nite..actually i wanted to put up a fight against my sleepiness when jayne to wake me and peter up, but i quickly gave up and rolled into the blanket again. it was a nite abound with dreams, though i couldn remember what dreams i had exactly..when i finally got up from the bed at 1030 with peter(not tt kinda relationship), with body swinging forth and back, i almost fell down the staircase..and i stumbled on my feet when i saw jayne's weird outfit--a blue roxy surf shirt with a pair of fiery red shorts--funny match, i thought secretly to myself..
the breakfast was a fascinating wanton mee(mee ONLY, to be honest) at a store near bee guan. we then pickep up our stuff and drove to the giant super market at jb. God, forgive us for our extravagance!! i have no doubt that anyone who saw the way we shopped would have their chins dropped on the floor at dismay..haha..we literally grabbed the food from the shelves and dumped them into the trolley until all the items piled up into a small heap. we toured in amongst the shelves of goods with our trolley, only stopping by the display stalls to try out the food..i felt a bit embarassed, when i had to go back to this milk stall and take two more cups of milk for the two thick-skinned siblings..
haha...
i spent a whole hundred plus msian ringgits lieh, leaving a big hole burnt out in my wallet.. :'(
later we watched a show in city square, kung fu hustle. it was VERY VERY funny and full of steven chow style jokes..we laughed so much that we had difficulties in mustering enough energy to stand up at the end of the show..

First time to a traditional service

wat a great day i had!!!
first of all, i had my first x'mas countdown in my life last nite and, secondly, i had my FIRST x'mas countdown in a bus terminal (at Larkin, to be exact)...haha..actually i was on my way to Jayne's house, and I was waiting for her at Larkin with Fern..when we reached her house, it was already this morning..
hehe..i finally met up with jayne's brother, peter, a cool stylish ex-chinese high boy who studies in njc currently..he's outgoing, hilarious and very very lame (haha, very much to my delight i guess..). after taking a refreshing bath, we sat at the table and started playing cards(hmmm, 3am in the morning, not rly a gd time to play cards rite?!). the direct consequence of the game at this strange hour was 4 hard-to-wake-up souls who whined at the wakeup call, rolled on bed to shun the annoyed kicks from jayne and buried heads in the soft pillows..
haha..
in the end, when we eventually managed to drag our lead-loaded bodies out of beds, we discovered-to our horror-that we were going to be VERY late for the morning service..as i frantically pulled my pants up and buttoned up my shirt, i suddenly heard the grumbling of my stomach..embassed, i quietly enquired fern about the possibility of a brief breakfast before service. it took us some time to make the decision, but the imploration from the grumbling stomachs overrode the crave for a spiritual meal at the sermon, so we were at bee guan restaurant 10 mins later..
as for the church, it was great. not only did i enjoyed a good performance staged by the choir, i observed a traditional presbyterian service. different from the dynamic and festive charismatic sermons at CHC or the interactive and elating methodist sermons at FMC, it is solemn and follows a 'protocol' of programs which i believe to be commonly found in the more conventional churches.
